This is your opportunity to keep up to date with all the happenings. All ages welcome, even the little ones. This is an ACSD member event giving you a chance to support climbing in San Diego. Bingo & Poker Extravaganza

Where: Dream Catcher Lounge - Viejas Casino (Map) When: Wednesday, August 20th, 2008: 6:00-10:00pm Information: On June 1st, 2008, Micah, a local adventurist, avid rock climber, and single father to three, injured himself while diving at Cedar Creek Falls, in Ramona, Ca. He was flown to Palomar Medical Center and was declared a quadriplegic upon admission. He broke his neck and is currently undergoing extensive medical treatment. Due to his physical, mental, and spiritual strength, he has already shown movement in the arms and has sensation in his legs. If anyone can walk away from this, it will be Micah. We are trying to raise enough money to cover medical expenses, take care of his children, and send him to a promising rehabilitation center. We, his family and friends, have no doubt that if there is a way, he will find it! * This is a 21 and over event. <PDF Flyer>

A mix of beautiful images and video of bouldering first ascents in Japan,Spain, Hueco and southern illinois twisted through Jasons artistic eye to bring you a truly unforgettable show. Adopt-A-Crag Volunteer Opportunity
Adopt-A-Crag Volunteer Service Project: Mission Trails
Where: Mission Trails Regional Park
When: Saturday, January 12th, 2008 - 8am-1pm
Information: The Allied Climbers of San Diego teamed up with the Mission Trails Regional Park Foundation, The Access Fund, and REI for a day of trail maintenance which included fence building, erosion prevention, seeding, and habitat restoration. It was a beautiful day and the recent rains left the ground soft which made the trail work a little easier. The event was a big success with a large number of volunteers who made short work of the tasks at hand.
